Go to bible.com and ensure you are signed in to your account. Top right: tap on the Profile Icon. Tap on Account Settings. Select Edit your personal information. Select the account. Scroll down until you see the option to update your email address. Edit Your Profile Profile Picture. Go to bible.com and ensure you are signed in to your account.

Search and Audio in the Bible won’t be available offline. To use both of those features, the device must be connected to wifi or mobile connectivity. There’s one default version downloaded. What Bible versions are available? Tap the Bible icon on the bottom menu. Select the abbreviation in the top right corner (example: NIV).

Type a friend’s YouVersion account-associated email address, and search for it. Select Connect Contacts to add Friends from your phone contacts. Ensure their contact includes the email address associated with their YouVersion account, not just a phone number. Select Add next to any friends you want to join in the Bible App.

Install the Bible App. Open the App Store on your device. Select the Search field. In the Search field, search for YouVersion. Make sure you are looking at the correct Bible App: Bible App made by Life.Church—with a dot between Life and Church.

Read Bible Versions Without Downloading. Follow these steps to preview a Bible version or read it without download. Select the Bible tab. Top right: select the Bible Version abbreviation (e.g., NIV). Select the version from the list or tap the language for versions in a different language. Select the ⓘ button next to the version you want to read.

Swipe the Bible App off the screen. Try using the Bible App again, and see if it now works as you expect. Clear Bible App Local Cache. On devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers, apps store data in memory (cache) for short-term use. Normally, when you close an app or browser, they clear this memory space, freeing it for other apps.
