2011年7月17日 · Available 14v zeners have different values for this spec. One has Iz=.2A and the others have Iz= 9mA. Or is Iz the maximum current the device can handle thermally? Iz generally means the test current. They work over a very wide range, but they meet specs at Iz.

2020年11月13日 · The Zener diode (DK1) YZ140 is of 14 V 500 mW as I could not find the exact one I used a 13 V instead. Previously I replaced the following faulty transistors QK1 2SC789, QK2 and QK3 2SC1000 with QK1 BD243c and QK2 Qkr with BC550 and BC 414. When I powered up the receiver smoke came from QK2 and the zener diode was shorted again.

2017年10月5日 · The service manual suggests that the zener diode that is blown in my unit is a BZ-140 which google tells me is a 14V 1W zener diode. What would be a suitable replacement as this diode is no longer manufactured? From what I know about diodes, it will have to be 14V and at least 1W. Higher power rating is fine provided it fits physically.

2018年5月18日 · Dk2 is listed in the SM as YZ140 a 14v Zenor Diode. Crosses to 1N5244B. This looks like a typical glass orange Zenor with black band, and appears to be the original factory part.

2017年10月6日 · From what I know about diodes, it will have to be 14V and at least 1W. From reading suggestion is that I should not try and replace it with a higher Wattage diode and stick to a 1W spec. Any suggestions for a modern readily available alternative? An NTE144A has been suggested in another forum but that one is also not a diode easy to find.
