2015年4月30日 · Get a z22 block bored to 89mm and get some ka24E pistons. Z24 pistons have a bigger dish than ka24e pistons and will drop the compression. You can use either the z22 or the larger port z24 heads. Z20 is basically an L20B with a different head on it.

Available as carbureted and fuel-injected versions, the Z24 four-banger was seen in a variety of Nissan cars made between 1983 and 1990.

Note: All USDM gasoline Z20, Z22 and Z24 engines were known as NAPS-Z (NAPZ or NAPS-Z Nissan Anti-Pollution System), NAPZ motors had dual spark-plugs (two per cylinder) except the pre-82 versions and latest versions of the Z24i as fitted to the Pathfinder. All NAPZ engines sold in California reportedly had dual plug heads regardless of the year.

2010年8月10日 · You could run the Z24 transmission but the L head is designed to sit on a motor that is tilted over to the pass side by 12 degrees. Placing the L head on a Z block will tilt the intake and exhaust down and towards to the driver's side.

2006年10月17日 · Exhaust sides for ka-e and naps-z look very similar and you can even use a ka-e turbo manifold on a naps-z, even though the ports are a little different. I was messing with that compression ratio calculator, and found that a 15cc dish with the ka-e head would get you somewhere around a 7.5:1 compression.
