Zoomed in mesh occupying canvas background - ZBrushCentral
Somehow or another you exited 3d edit mode, and dropped your active 3d tool to the 2.5 d canvas, which converts it to pixols rather than a live 3d mesh. In any event, simply clear the canvas (ctrl+n) or Layer > Clear, and re-enter edit mode (t).

2020年4月23日 · zbrush mesh issue - my mesh is the exact colour as my background. can rotate the canvas too, my material and colour are both set to a normal one but yeah its invisible. you can see the outline on the grid. any ideas? What’s happening is that you’re accidentally creating a snapshot of the model - probably by mistakenly pressing its keyboard shortcut (Shift+S). That leaves a duplicate as pixols on the canvas while you retain the original in Edit mode. You’ll find Snapshot in the Transform palette and can change its shortcut there if it keeps getting in the way.

Open ZBrush, under document: import a picture for use as a reference, under tool: import the mesh, hit t and rotate to morph it. Here is where the problem comes in. The background seems to be a plane about half way through the model.

It seems to have something to do with a background image that was overlaying the model. Somehow a texture is only appearing on top of the model, then when I get rid of the texture the model is dark. Clear the mask by Ctrl+click+dragging the background. Press Tool>Geometry>Dynamesh. The duplicated cube will subtract from the sphere. The original cube will still be there (probably rather holey) but will be a different polygroup to the sphere. To get rid of it: Turn on Edit Draw mode and Shift+Ctrl+click the sphere. The original cube is hidden.
