2009年7月9日 · When I bought my bike it was lowered down to the lowest setting on the rear shock heighth adjuster. I think only the 2000 and maybe the 2001 have this adjustment. It lowered it enough that the previous owner had to remove the rear tire hugger to keep it from hitting the bottom of the rear cowl.

2008年2月27日 · I lowered mine 2 inches, but left the forks stock. It handles fine and I figure I can just strap the front when I take it to the track. Lowering more may cause some rear tire clearance issues too. And you'll need to modify your kickstand.

2012年10月2日 · Lowered it front and back a good 1 1/2" fitted shifter and electric kill; Its on a standard clutch with heavy clutch springs; Been riding it at the local track which is nothing compared to the local tracks you have out there (pretty much an old airfield) but so far managed best of. 10.5 1/4 @ 132 ; 1.64 60ft. 6.80 1/8 @ 105

2003年9月26日 · I was running pretty steady 10.3's-10.4's at around 130-135 on my last time out. I just couldn't hammer out of the hole. That was lowered/strapped with Akra and Ivan's and -1t front. At my current skill level, I'm really not making the most out of the lowering. It doesn't improve my times much since I'm just not getting good 60-foots.

2006年6月17日 · hmmm, my needles are up one from the middle (rich) and my floats are 1mm lower(leaner) then Factory Pro's recommended setting, 172 outer, 175 inners and screws are out 1.0 turns, I think! It was 94F here in Toronto today, no issues here.

2006年3月26日 · I have a Silver 2003 ZX9. slightly lowered, 4+ ign. advancer, full muzzy, factory pro jet kit. 162-168 on the jets, 2 notch on the needle and i just tried to remove the kleen canister. I'm getting some type of hesitation in 1st gear around 5-6k, 2nd around 6k and 3rd around same spots when accelerating.

2005年4月16日 · I have lowered the front end 1" by sliding the shocks up in the triple tree. I lowered the rear 1" by installing a complete ZX9 shock/bones/pivot. With this method you get the addded bonus of having both compression and rebound damping on the rear.
