The victim was found with a serious neck injury but was stabilized by the Atlantic City Police and later transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. Initial investigations suggest the victim was targeted due to his race.

On September 22, 2024, at 7:50 PM, patrol officers responded to Route 30 and Grammer-cy Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
