Zero, also known as Zer0 or Prototype-0, is a musical automaton built by Peter Walter I in 1896, cobbled together out of three of Walter's unfinished warbots. He is the newest robot member of Steam Powered Giraffe. He is portrayed by Bryan Barbarin. Zero is a stocky automaton colored primarily in gold, patched with spots of silver.

Steam Powered Giraffe (sometimes abbreviated as "SPG") has its own fictional mythology, in which the characters portrayed on-stage and on-record are a troupe of robot musicians constructed in the late 1890s.

My Hero, Zero Zer0 is a unique robot, given that he's literally built out of incomplete systems and significantly physically stronger than the others. Ironically, if Beebop is to be believed, is actually the most reliable robot Walter Robotics ever created.
