2023年12月18日 · Personally I find IEMs with more treble than the Zero:2 to have a charming effect at first, but listening to such IEMs at length is fatiguing and eventually annoying. For what it is worth I too find the Zero:2 a bit messy out of the box, but bringing down the upper bass with a gentle peaking filter helps to clear things out.

2023年12月18日 · Having said all this, being in possession of the Variations, the Nova, the Red and the 7Hz Zero 2, for the last weeks I was almost exclusivley using the Zero 2 and have zero motivation to change this, it takes away a bit of the ear gain of the 2019 target, which is pleasant for me. Amazing IEM, not even considering the price.

2023年12月23日 · Most IEM listeners have set their own targets on 711 rigs but most bought are the ones that agree with the +10db tilt of the DF target where the treble from 2k onwards is generally sloping down. I guess you can try this yourself with an iem instead to using amir’s EQ on any one of the recommended iem’s like truthear hola or red or zero2

2023年12月18日 · I'd rather not spend almost as much as the IEM on a cable, especially such a short one, but if it's quickly comfortable than it makes it easier to take the IEMs out and put back on. 2023年12月18日 · 7hz Zero: 84, 7hz Zero mk2: 73, Truthear Crinacle Zero: 81. Speaking of scores: I own the Zero 1 and 2 and Truthear Crinacle Zero also and by far prefer the 7hz's. This Zero 2 + EQ I think sounds the best. So at least according to the ranking for compliance to Harman listener preference scores - I prefer the lowest ranking one after eq!
