Together I bought a parallel-to-USB adaptor so that the driver can be connected to by PC, running on Windows 10. However, the PC does not recognize the zip driver at all. I saw some community message suggesting an old Windows version might work with Zip drive.

2023年2月25日 · Zip drives are legacy hardware and there are no longer drivers available for current versions of windows. On top of that Iomega not longer exists so there is no official source of iomegaware software which is needed to run the drive. One thing that can be done is using the internet archive option to look at the download page for the software .

2019年2月26日 · Then manually load the drivers and that's it! In Windows XP you can even install Iomega's official software to use with the drive. Then copy-paste from the ZIP disk to a shared folder and vice versa to exchange files between the guest (XP) and the host (Windows 10).

2019年6月23日 · My device is an Iomega USB Zip 250 with its own power supply. It was working on an XP desktop but not on a Windows 10 laptop. The device would appear on 'control panel - devices and printers' and in 'device manager' as a disk drive. The device properties indicated that it was working properly.
