2023年12月8日 · The icon is set by indirection. As an example, 7-Zip sets the icon for .7z extension as follows. The key .7z has a (Default) value of 7-Zip.7z. The key 7-Zip.7z has subkey DefaultIcon. That key has a (Default) value pointing to the file containing the icon and its enumeration in the resource. However, Windows may or may not respect that icon.

So i startet 7zip FileManager GUI and went to Tools -> Options and selected the file types i would like to have associated with 7zip and which should have 7zip icons.

2009年9月4日 · Already tried to manually associate Zip files with explorer.exe, and the that sort of worked, but it didn't restore the "Extract All" context menu, or the general "treat zip files like folders" functionality.

2013年9月12日 · If you find 7-zip Context Menu extension and the Filename column shows 7-zip32.dll and it is enabled, then you should right-click and Disable selected items. Then untick Options->Show 32-bit Shell Extensions and find the 7-zip Context Menu extension again (filename should be 7-zip.dll) and enable it, this is the 64-bit one.

I don't know how but now every time I click it, it opens in a DOS window instead of showing me the files that make it up. It doesn't show the ZIP folder icon. Instead it shows the DOS box icon.
