Zuko was sick. The young firebender gracelessly stomped down the stairs of the Ember Island house, a thick blanket tightly wrapped around his pale body, his face barely peeking out from his cover. His cheeks were flushed from the little color it normally had.

Zuko tried to steady his breathing, and focused on calming his pounding heart. He could feel the heat of his body, but he was extremely cold, so his body shook. Katara examined him closely, determined him as asleep, and called in Sokka to take her place.

"Fire lord Zuko is sick and needs to rest, so I am going to be attending meetings for him until he recovers understood?" Katara snapped back at him not liking his tone, she walked into the room and sighed to herself – this was going to be a long hard day.

2022年11月13日 · A while after the end of the war, the gaang heads out on a camping trip, dragging Zuko along with them. It's supposed to be a week of fun and relaxation, just hanging out together as a group... but the plan unfortunately goes off track when Zuko falls ill with a bad stomach bug in the middle of the woods, miles out from the nearest town.

Nothing more than fluff and cuddles and the Gaang taking care of a sick Zuko. Takes place during S3 before the group gets to Ember Island and after the episode "The Southern Raiders". “I know my father was wrong about so many things,” Zuko finally said, “but everything he’s said about me feels so true." Zuko was born with a heart condition.

2023年9月11日 · In this case, I believe Zuko is experiencing what is known as a Psychogenic fever. A traumatic event is causing his body to react as though it is under attack, even though the stress itself is the source of the fever.

We took Zuko to Iroh's tea shop, being the closet place we could call home. Everyone else had stayed back, fixing the chaos. "Iroh, has this happened before?" I asked. I was trying to heal him, but it wasn't working. This didn't seem like a normal type of sickness. It was more of a battle with inner demons. Iroh looked away. "Iroh?"
