Adel (/ ˈædl / ADD-əl) [1] is a suburb of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. To its immediate south is Weetwood, to the west are Cookridge and Holt Park, to the east are Alwoodley and Moortown, and to the north are Bramhope, Arthington and Eccup.

The Leylands was an area of Leeds, north of the city centre and west of Mabgate. John Cossins ' 1726 Plan of Leedes shows two fields marked Ley Lands north of Lady Lane and west of the Sheepscar Beck (also later known as Lady Beck) which correspond to the area. [1]

St George's Church, Leeds is a Church of England parish church in the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The church building is near to Leeds General Infirmary. It is a church in the Deanery of North West Leeds. Although based in the city centre, the congregation is drawn from all parts of the city, including some student congregation.

Hyde Park is a centre city area for homes of north-west Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, placed between the University of Leeds and Headingley. It sits in the Headingley and Hyde Park voting area of Leeds City Council, though where the border between Headingley and Hyde Park isn't clear; Victoria Road is usually thought to be its northern limit.

City Square is a paved area north of Leeds railway station at the junction of Park Row to the east and Wellington Street to the south. It is a triangular area where six roads meet: Infirmary Street and Park Row to the north, Boar Lane and Bishopsgate Street to the south-east, and Quebec Street and Wellington Street to the south-west.
