AAG Honors are offered annually to recognize outstanding accomplishments by members in research and scholarship, teaching, education, service to the discipline, public service outside academe and for lifetime achievement.

These awards include the Marble-Boyle Undergraduate Achievement Award, the Marble Fund Award for Innovative Master's Research in Quantitative Geography, and the William L. Garrison Award for Best Dissertation in Computational Geography.

2025年1月22日 · It is presented in recognition of the lifetime contributions in economic analysis and contributions made to the effective enforcement of antitrust law by an economist. This award is named in honor of Neil Roberts, former chief of the Antitrust Division’s Legal Policy Section.

2022年1月9日 · The Anderson Medal of Honor Award This award is the highest distinction which the Applied Geography Specialty Group (AGSG) can bestow. The Medal is awarded by the AGSG Board of Directors in recognition of the most distinguished service to the profession of geography.

John Kupfer was named an AAG Fellow in recognition of his work advancing geography. A biogeographer, Kupfer has published more than 70 papers focused on the how ecological processes are shaped by environmental conditions and by human activities.

2025年2月26日 · Under each award category there would be, at least, three different awards to be competed for. The awards will honor the most impactful advertising campaigns and creative works spanning 2023 and 2024.
