2024年6月25日 · BMW isn't gonna have any problem selling this car, even at that weight, for the same reason they didn't have any problem selling the F90 M5 with only a torque converter auto. The target customer doesn't care that much about weight or having a manual (or dct).

2022年2月21日 · M5 is sporty sedan car, M3 is a sedany sports car. Having driven both on and off the track, I’d take either. On a big boy track like COTA the M5 will walk away from an M3. You’ll catch them in the corners in an M3 but as soon as you hit a straight you’ll be right foot down with nothing more to give as the M5 pulls away.

2023年1月10日 · bmw are tractors if well taken care of, there was a dude on here who posted something along the lines of an x5 diying at 400k km. I opted for a 540i and speced her juuuuust the way I like it (if you have the budget for the m5 comp you'll be able to fully load a 540) that I plan to keep long term.

2020年10月28日 · Lightnings were actually pretty quick by the standards of the day (traction was a problem but they could just about keep pace with an E46 M3 from a roll, for example) but the M5 was something else. That said, I'm surprised that people are still surprised, given the way BMW decorates the exteriors of contemporary M cars.

Most people buying a M5 specifically want a M5 and most people buying a Hellcat specifically want a Hellcat. But there's definitely people who cross-shop. Maybe not the CS, but a regular used M5 is only 80-90k now.
