May 4, 2022 · I've heard a lot of stories where Angelfish like Emperors, Regal, Majestic will eat their LPS and softies but not eat SPS. I really love butterflyfish and know pyramids and zosters, longnose, certain henniochus and copperbands have a decent chance of not eating SPS. But my favorite butterflyfish are of the genus Chaetodon.

Mar 29, 2020 · Seem to follow the rules for risky coral fish, and don't seem to be on the super destructive side of butterflyfish. Fleshy LPS like acans, trachy, lobo, favia, ect are probably high on the menu. Zoanthids seem hit or miss.

May 31, 2017 · It began to dead respiring and after few hours died. So I don't what happened. All other fishes in the tank are completely OK, one sadel back one yellow tang, one blue tang, one bicolor angel fish one king bleny, one whatch man goby, one fire dart and a sail fin tang, all are OK. As result Arabian butterflyfish is easy but impossible.

Jul 4, 2019 · Chelmon rostratus aka the Copperband Butterflyfish is a common choice, but not the easiest fish. The others above will be more hardy. Also check out the Yellow Pyramid Butterflyfish (Hemitaurichthys polylepis) and the Zoster Butterflyfish (Hemitaurichthys zoster)- they will be hardy as well. You could also look into C. Apr 28, 2020 · This butterfly is often brought in and mistaken for the Xanthurus and Mertensii, I find many LFSs don’t realise they’re 3 different species altogether and not just 3 variants.
