EBags website is no longer - Rick Steves Travel Forum
2024年7月17日 · In the “early days,” Ebags sold all kinds of brands including some Rick Steve luggage. Then, Ebags got more focused - for good reason. Then, started merging with Samsonite. Then, covid hit and severely reduced traveling and luggage sales. Then, ebags really cut back on inventory. Then, the insane clearance sales. So, I’m not surprised.
eBags has finally closed - FlyerTalk Forums
2024年8月2日 · Samsonite bought eBags back in 2017, but eBags kept their separate identity. They already have customers names etc, because Samsonite would ship the orders out from Florida. I'll definitely buy a few more before something else happens. Covid took ebags under including many other luggage makers. I'm glad Tom Bihn is still hanging on.

2020年11月1日 · Ebags was sold to Samsonite - which explains why my experience with them is so different from what I had come to expect from Ebags. To be honest and fair, the Customer Service person I spoke with today couldn't have been nicer or more understanding and we joked about how crazy this all was!

2021年10月16日 · Overall I would say that going forward this eBags is going to be my go-to choice for travel, with the RS convertible carryon now held in reserve for occasions that call for bulkier clothes or an extra suit. And unexpanded it will serve for …

2025年1月15日 · Ebags used to be a great site. They used to sell all brands at discounted prices. I almost bought the same Motherload Weekender Jr back in 2015 but ended up getting an SOC Bugout Bag through eBags. Eventually, those other brands stopped selling through eBags. Choices became limited and eBags shut down or was bought out.

2021年9月27日 · As a follow-on to this, I accidentally discovered that eBags' Connected Luggage Tags, which had a QR code and RFID chip to allow someone to get contact info for you without printing it on a tag, are now just useless hunks of plastic. The URLs for the tags no longer work and the eBags app, which one had used to register the tags, no longer exists.
eBags TLS Mother Lode Rolling Weekender 22" VS Rick ... - Rick …
2019年7月2日 · I have a couple of old RS bags, an old Ebags bag, an older delsey, an old travelsmith, an old Sears bag, and an old Eagle Creek bag. (The whole family uses these bags and I have a minor bag collecting issue.). Conclusion: all of these bags work fine; have survived many trips and some abuse. Either one - the RS bag or ebags bag will serve you well.
eBags Weekender - anyone tried/used? - FlyerTalk Forums
2012年9月23日 · We also have both the eTech and TLS versions of the weekender convertible. I prefer my TLS to my husband's eTech for these reasons: 1) separate laptop compartment (which can be used for other things than a laptop, of course), 2) forehead pocket (very handy for storing luggage locks, 3-1-1 ziplock, and other small items), 3) the TLS holds a little more (see ebags' …
