2023年6月11日 · Iam using a RTX 4070ti with the Razer Core X Chroma, so it works. Just take care about the size. Power shouldn’t be a problem at 4070. That "error" on the dGPU happened to me as well /w my Stealth 14 Studio when connecting an external GPU. Solution was to attach everything and CLEAN INSTALL drivers from NVIDIA.

2023年1月28日 · Depends on resolution, I think 4070Ti can be effective if you go for 4k, but CPU+latency bottleneck for qhd and fhd. Alternatively you can look to m2 gpu over tb3 as it is a mini PC build and not a laptop build. I'm running a 4070TI on my razer core x! Works perfectly well. I have it paired with a Dell XPS, i9. Runs games at 4k 120 easily.

2024年10月19日 · Got this Asus ROG ALLY X and couldn't resist getting eGPU enclosure. Was worry of compatibility issue 4070 Ti Super on Razer Core X, so got 4070 Founder Edition just to be safe and happy with current 4070 GPU. Having eGPU enclosure can reduce CPU temperature dramatically. (ROG ALLY X already have impressive cooling for small little unit)

I have an ASUS G14 2023 (AMD 7940HS, 32GB RAM, USB4) with a Razer Core X (Thunderbolt 3) running a NVIDIA 4070 Super. I've mostly been playing Lies of P at max 4K setting and am very happy. I ran a Geekbench and got an OpenCL score of 139751 , which is about 73% of the average score of 191706.
