BN 3015 and 3017 are straight GP40's, both ex-CB&Q. The 3000-series ex-CBQ GP40's were rebuilt, called GP40M's, and numbered in the 3500 series. Some were renumbered into the BNSF 3000's.

While recently scanning slides, I came across this photo I took of BN (ex-Frisco) GP40-2 3051 leading a westbound local in the siding at Maryhill, WA in October, 1993. Looking at a recent BNSF roster, I see no GP40-2's listed, so I was wondering when they left the railroad? Thanks f
