2013年12月17日 · It is pronounced gish´-sahr-ath´, with no vocalization of the apostrophy except perhaps a slight pause. The rank "sarth" previously appeared in A Guide to the Astral Plane (1996), p.49. How to optimize a Gishy [Fighter/Mage] Character? [closed]
A solid “gish-in-a-can”, the duskblade from Player’s Handbook II gets a very useful ability to channel touch spells through an attack. Unfortunately, their spell list is really limited ( and goes only to 6th-level spells), and the really good feature (full-attack spell channeling) doesn’t come until 13th class level, which is very rough.

For an intelligence based gish there's really only 4 options: Arcane Trickster Rogue, Battle Smith Artificer, Bladesinging Wizard, or Eldritch Knight Fighter. An Arcane Tricksters is a great dual wielder because a bonus action attack is another opportunity for Sneak Attack and is an OK melee damage dealer because of said Sneak Attack.
How can I make a fighter/sorcerer that contributes to the party?
Gish is the term used for any fighter/mage build where the character's focus in both spellcasting and martial combat is at least somewhat equal and where both aspects of the character are viable. I would like to push BAB as high as possible, and possibly also gain some of the lost fighter bonus feats, but also 9th level spells are a must.

What are martial classes? - Role-playing Games Stack Exchange
2021年10月5日 · The term 'Martial class' isn't a specifically designated rules term, but rather a catch-all used by the community to define those characters whose primary role is, essentially, to hit things with sharp or blunt objects until they die; or, to be less pithy, those character classes whose combat actions are primarily defined by the use of a melee or ranged weapon, or skill checks to deal damage ...

2013年11月22日 · I'm planning on building a Gish for the next game I play in, and I was wondering how to best plan the build. I want power attack so I can do damage in combat, and I want to wield the weapon two-handed to get the most out of it. However, I need a free hand to cast spells. The plan is to get a Scimitar (love the crit) and wield it in battle.
Can a wizard cast two spells by taking a full round action?
2016年2月19日 · Spells usually take a swift, immediate or standard action to cast (or more). I know no spells that can be cast as a move action and this, together with the fact that quickened spells are swift actions (errataed from free as soon as swift actions were born), means that the total number of spells you can cast per round is two (one standard, one swift), except for effects that increase the ...
