2020年9月25日 · Hi guys, I'm running iOS 14 and have a few questions about the files app. If I drag and drop files (documents, pictures etc) on my Mac to the iCloud drive, when I look at these files on my iPhone they have a cloud icon with a downward arrow. I know this means that the documents are held in the cloud and I need to click the arrow to download them.

2018年1月9日 · FYI, just because it has a cloud symbol (as in step 4 of the above subsection) does not mean it is coming from the cloud. The "cloud" does not have any of your apps (only possibly your app data, i.e., level & position within a game). When you delete the app from your iPhone, that data should be deleted as well.

Downloading and using apps is an important benefit in enjoying your iPhone. I'll be happy to help. The cloud icon with the arrow pointing down means that the app was downloaded in the past under an Apple ID account.

2018年6月16日 · that is not what iCloud does - it is NOT an off site storage location nor is it a backup service - it is a syncing service and all photos will be on all connected devices - you use optimized photos for devices with limited storage - services like DropBox provide off site storage but they can not be used with the Photos App - it must have its photos in the local library

2022年11月21日 · Voice Memos are not included in iCloud Backup with iOS version 12 or later. Also note that you cannot view any contents of iCloud Backup; you can only use the backup to do a full restore of a device or to setup a new device. Voice Memos can be synced with your other devices via iCloud.
