iPad How long will the M1 pro and new mini last? - MacRumors …
2022年1月25日 · Will the M1 iPad Pro 11 and the iPad mini 6 work well for 3-5 years? I’m assuming yes as the base iPad now has the a13 chip. With a battery replacement in 2 years will these iPads still be snappy and a good experience to use? Thank you!

2011年10月3日 · Wasting time clicking through youtube on performance data relating to the Apple M1 processor, I found an interesting video from several month ago comparing the performance data of the M1 in the Mac Air to the A12Z in the iPad Pro and it had me thinking... this is probably very close to what we can expect in the M1 iPad Pro, since it's more or ...

iPad Pro iPad A12X Chip vs M1/2 chip Performance?
2023年6月20日 · 2015 iPad Pro 1 was released September 9, 2015 and is still supported today. 91 months and counting. The 8 years is conservative... if support lengthens to 9+ years I'd likely replace to an iPad model released after it receives the final Security Update. So from 2018 iPad Pro A12X Bionic 7nm to 2028 iPad Pro M6 1.4nm (A14).
iPad 11 With A17 Pro Chip and Apple Intelligence Rumor Was …
2001年4月12日 · A private account on X with a proven track record ended up being correct about the entry-level iPad getting an A16 chip instead. No MacOS on M1 iPad Pro attempts? | MacRumors Forums
2021年10月19日 · I'm guessing at the moment if Apple were to try and put the Mac on the iPad that it would be a subpar Mac experience, because the processing power isn't quite enough. iPad Pro M1 is only just recently capable of running multiple apps on the screen at the same time, so running the essential Mac apps like the Adobe suite will be too much.
is the iPad mini the last "high-end" device without an M1 chip?
2017年7月23日 · Agreed with the A18, it’s a sure and safe bet. I have doubt iPad minis will get any M-series chips, I’m not so confident those chips can run well on anything smaller than a 11 inch iPad Air. Stage Manager is also available on 2018 iPad Pros with A12X/4gb ram. An iPad mini with A18/8gb ram can and should have it.

iPad Pro Why isn't the battery of the M1 iPad better?
2021年5月27日 · The issue is that in terms of iPad Pro, the M1 chip is not as big of a leap in efficiency versus previous A12X and A12Z chips, but it is a tremendous leap in something like a laptop coming from Intels inefficient chips.
Is the M2 chip more future proof than the M1 chip.
2022年4月30日 · M1/Pro are just so good and a massive upgrade over the final Intel stuff. I'd buy the machine I like - form factor, I/O, etc and wouldn't worry all that much about which chip. For example - I'd gladly buy a discounted M1P MBP because I like it a ton but would choose the M2 Air over the M1 Air because I think the new design is slick.
