Sep 30, 2022 · Irn Bru is great. The regular stuff is good, not as good as it was before the sugar tax but you can get Irn Bru 1901 which is the original version (although pricier and for a smaller bottle). Diet Irn Bru is disgusting but the no sugar Irn Bru Xtra is very good.

(Scot here) Not sure about Ann Arbor, but theres a Scottish Bakery in Redford which I pass by often to go to work ( https://ackroydsbakery.com) I haven't tried anything (It's kind of overpriced IMO), but they definitely sell Irn Bru and the food looks pretty good/authentic.

Aug 20, 2022 · Irn Bru was very sweet, sticky and sickly and coated your mouth; whereas the new Irn Bru has the ‘essence’ of what it was but tastes flat and dissipates almost immediately into a fizzy nothingness. There’s no reason why they couldn’t have just added the price on to account for the sugar tax, similar to Cola.

A full 2 litre bottle of Irn bru fell aff the top shelf of the fridge (about 6 ft high), hit the bottom edge of the fridge, battered the skirting board, and skited across the kitchen, slamming into the door like a fucking bullet...

In the pot 2 x white onion 4 x garlic cloves A handful of jalapeños (should have been fresh but I couldn’t find any!) 500 ml irn bru (1901 recipe) It was supposed to be orange juice in this recipe but I had also bought a nice glass bottle of the limited edition 1901 irn bru so I threw that in as an experiment! I hope it pays off!!

I really dont think irn bru does anything for a hangover except maybe change the taste In your myth. It's a Scottish myth that's been mass accepted. 😜 I've tried it several times and it did nothing. At least hair of the dog delays a hangover until the afternoon. Give me eggs and croissant and orange juice and some exercise any day over irn bru.

Aug 23, 2021 · Hi all, I have a Scottish partner that has been landlocked (landloch'd one might say) who used to get Irn Bru from Thrifty Foods at Quadra and Cloverdale, but there hasn't been any in well over 6 months. The British shop downtown has closed and we've looked in other supermarkets but haven't had any luck.
