The reason WinGet is failing is that the mIRC website only hosts the latest version of mIRC and redirects old download links to the download page so that users download the latest version. For the time being, I have re-enabled the most recent version download links so that WinGet works.

2003年2月20日 · What is the best server to logon to if I want lots of MP3 channels? I used to use MIRC all the time for this purpose but recently I got a "can't logon" message. After reading this message board I found out I need to specify my server instead of the random selection. I used to get hundreds of channels loaded with people and music servers.

2021年11月5日 · 4. In the same copy of mIRC, type the command "/dcc chat 127.0.0.1" and press the enter key. This will make your copy of mIRC connect to its own DCC Server to chat. That said, you really want to use an IRC server as that is what mIRC was designed for. The DCC Server is just a basic one-to-one direct chat method.

2003年7月20日 · after reloading my mirc I started running it and I ran it for over 4 hours without a connection abort. So, I am asuming the problem isn't with mirc it has to do more with a sick winXP. I know doing a clean install is a little drastic but if you are having problem with mirc you are having problems with other programs on your system.

2010年2月4日 · Well, I made it work without mirc option 'cancel away on activity'. In my away system if you get auto away it now cancel away on activity, and not with mirc option, it's scripted. If I choose to set myself away with the Away System I dont want cancel away on activity. BUT, there is 1 fault in the script (anyone tell me if they see any others).

2004年11月9日 · We're not going to get into a law debate, laws differ from country to country, blah blah blah, it's all been said before. The point it comes down to in the end, is mIRC isn't a file trading program - it doesn't matter a) How many people use it for that purpose, b) The fact that the DCC protocol is supported by mIRC or anything else.
