pKa, pH, and whether it is protonated or deprotonated?
2016年2月3日 · I like to think of it like this: the pKa is the pH at which 50% of the ionizable groups are deprotonated. Anything below the pKa of the group means the group is protonated, (low pH means acidic conditions, and acids give protons) any pH above the pKa is deprotonated (high pH means basic conditions, and bases steal protons)

What the hell is PKa and how is it different to pH? (Gold for
2014年4月15日 · As since Ka values span many orders of magnitude, in order to avoid unwieldy scientific notation,, pKa is frequently given instead, where: pKa = -log(Ka) Thus, pKa is just a more compact way to state the Ka of an acid. Because it is the negative log (base 10) of the Ka, the lower the pKa, the stronger the acid.

2020年5月6日 · From what I understand, pKa of a base is always given as the pKa of the conjugate acid, so the “pKa of water is 15.7” is often used as a way of measuring the basicity of the hydroxide ion. But more to your question of Kw, I …
Could someone help explain to me pKa strongest acid vs pKa
2017年8月11日 · I assume it means the pKa of the conjugate acid of the most basic functional group in the molecule, which is probably a ketone. Negative pKa's mean the group is strongly acidic. HCl has a pKa of -7, which is not surprising, since it is a strong acid.

2023年5月19日 · A LOW pKa is a STRONG acid, so a HIGH pKa is a WEAK acid. I like to remember that pKa and Ka are opposites: if pKa is low, Ka will be high. pH: tells you whether something is acidic or basic. acidic conditions would range from 0 - 6, basic controls would range from 8 - 14, and neutral is always 7. there are a few ways you can think of pH. there ...

2020年12月5日 · I was watching pka 497, and found out woody is 48, which I found surprising, he doesn't look it, Kyle is 34, and both Kyle and woody seem to have so much info on them but I can't find anything on taylor, he said he streamed, but what age is he?

If you go back to the week the divorce was finalized, Taylor missed PKA. Woody said Taylor had said he was sick. Woody then asks Taylor in multiple PKAs over the next few months if Taylor has any plans for kids. Woody was then surprised when Taylor said the news on the show. Kyle almost 100% already knew.
