Standardization of Relative Cerebral Blood Volume (rCBV) Image …
In this study, we demonstrate that a method called standardization, applied to rCBV maps, is an objective means of translating all rCBV values to a consistent scale. This approach reduces interpatient and interstudy variability for the same tissue type, thus enabling easy and accurate visual and quantitative comparison across studies.
Cerebral blood volume (CBV) - Radiopaedia.org
2020年9月24日 · Cerebral blood volume (CBV) (often relative CBV: see below) is one of the parameters generated by perfusion techniques (CT perfusion and MR perfusion). CBV is defined as the volume of blood in a given amount of brain tissue, most commonly milliliters of blood per 100 g of brain tissue 1.
Relative cerebral blood volume is associated with collateral status …
2017年11月14日 · High rCBV (p = 0.03) and low HIR (p = 0.03) were associated with good collaterals. A positive association was found between rCBV and better collateral grades on cerebral angiography (p = 0.01). Baseline and 27-h follow-up CTP were available for 115 patients, of whom 74 (64%) achieved successful reperfusion.
Relative cerebral blood volume as response predictor in the …
2023年10月1日 · We attempted to analyze whether relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) from dynamic susceptibility-weighted contrast-enhanced MRI (DSC-MRI) could predict response in patients with glioblastoma undergoing Bevacizumab (BVZ) treatment.
Relative cerebral blood volume is a potential biomarker in late …
2017年8月10日 · As a major parameter of PWI, relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) has been recognized as a biomarker in predicting the development of cancer. 9 rCBV is obtained by dividing CBV in the lesion by the CBV obtained from the contralateral, normal-appearing white matter (WM [same size ranges as the lesion]). 10 rCBV values >1 (defined as elevated ...
Relative cerebral blood volume is a potential predictive imaging ...
2015年3月9日 · To analyze the relevance of dynamic susceptibility-weighted contrast-enhanced MRI (DSC-MRI) derived relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) analysis for predicting response to bevacizumab (BEV) in patients with recurrent glioblastoma (rGB).
Relative cerebral blood volume is a potential biomarker in
Purpose: To assess whether relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) can provide information to reliably evaluate the stages of late delayed radiation-induced brain injury. Materials and methods: Forty patients diagnosed with late delayed radiation-induced brain injury were enrolled.
Comparison of Cerebral Blood Volume and Vascular Permeability …
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) and vascular permeability (K trans) permit in vivo assessment of glioma microvasculature. We assessed the associations between rCBV and K trans derived from dynamic, susceptibility-weighted, contrast-enhanced (DSC) MR imaging and tumor grade and between rCBV and K trans.
Regional cerebral blood volume: a comparison of the dynamic ... - PubMed
Accurate assessment of regional cerebral blood volume (rCBV) is of critical importance in the study of cerebrovascular disease and other disorders of the central nervous system. Currently, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is able to measure rCBV non-invasively with two commonly used methods: the dyn …
Relative Cerebral Blood Volume as a Marker of Durable Tissue-at …
2013年11月26日 · A relative CBV (rCBV) >0.93 emerged as the only predictor of good collaterals (odds ratio, 12.6; 95% confidence interval, 2.9–55.9; P =0.001). Early MCA recanalization was associated with better long-term outcome and lower infarct volume in patients with rCBV<0.93, but not in patients with high rCBV.
