[5] The structure of DRD4 has been reported in complex with the antipsychotic drug nemonapride. It contains a 48-bp Variable Number Tandem Repeat (VNTR) polymorphism in the third exon [11], repeated between 2 and 11 times, with the most common versions being 2 (2R), 4 (4R) and 7 (7R) repeats.
