The Czech VZ58 assault rifle is probably the most unique AK variant made like many other Czech made firearms with Soviet Russian initial designs. While externally the VZ58 resembles the Soviet Russian AK47, it is a different design based on a short-stroke gas piston as opposed to the AK47 rotating bolt gas operated action.
