2022年4月5日 · XE is a 163hp 4 banger with all the toys and 8-spd ZF, whereas XF is 275hp V6 with much less equipment and 6-spd ZF gearbox, both diesels. They are quite different in nature. I would say that strictly from driving experience point of view XE has a better chassis combining sporty/active driving experience with excellent comfort in its class.

2022年6月25日 · MY2015 XF R-Sport Sportbrake, and now MY2018 XE R-Sport. The difference between the XF and XE was large. Part of it was the 4 cylinder engines. For the XF diesel: 200PS, 450Nm, For the XE petrol, 250PS, 365Nm (though now with a TDI tuning box with a claimed 308PS, 427Nm.) The XF suited me at the time as I had three school aged kids and a dog.

If buying used, good service records are key with regular oil changes a must (there is much debate on frequency but 10,000 miles minimum or 5,000 miles even better).
