1997年10月12日 · The Aristo RS-3 is a fine engine. It pulls well, runs smoothly and is very well detailed. However, even a well implemented engine could use some work. This page describes changes I have made to the headlights, sound system, the addition of DCC (twice) and modifications to the smoke system (also twice). The RS-3 was made by Alco starting in 1950.

The ALCO RS-3 is a 1,600 hp (1.2 MW), B-B diesel-electric locomotive manufactured from May 1950 to August 1956 by American Locomotive Company (ALCO) and its subsidiary Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW).
