The trio, consisting of Ngcali Nundu (19), Lihle Baleni (20), and Sihle Mdaka (21), embodies the essence of their hometown, Mthatha. 047 is the area code for Mthatha in Eastern Cape South Africa, and the name of a three piece boy band from that particular area ,such homage and patriotism from the members: Ncgali Nundu, Lihle Baleni and Sihle Mdaga who then relocated to Johannesburg after they were discovered by Vusi Nova and signed to Muthaland Entertainment.

047 är en svensk bitpopgrupp från Tjörn / Stenungsund i Bohuslän. [1] Deras musik är starkt influerad av musiken från 1980-talets och det tidiga 1990-talets dator- och TV-spelsmaskiner, som Commodore 64 och Nintendo.
