Does anybody have any detailed Amtrak F40PH roof shots? I am working on super detailing a model, but can't find any detailed roof shots in my collection or on the net.

2005年9月15日 · The new Spectrum F40 is a huge improvement over the old one. It uses an all new shell and chassis that are good enough to make it’s price seem inexpensive. It has see-through roof vents with seperate fan blades inside. it also has flush fitting windows and seperate windshield wipers.

2016年7月29日 · Gary Raymond wrote an excellent article on cutting down the Lionel truck GP9 frames to fit the NWSL motor blocks. You can find the article on the web at Finescale modeler archives, name of article is Lionel GP7 or GP9 by Gary Raymond. They are not the correct truck frames for a F40PH but they look really close.

SPECS: Built by EMD, these units boasted a 3000 horsepower prime mover and were equipped with HEP (Head End Power) Generators and DC Traction Motors. The F40's were also the first such units that Amtrak owned that had HEP capability built in.
