OffNoise-Solutions has developed an innovative noise mitigation method to reduce the underwater offshore piling noise. This HSD-System provides a HSD-Net with special sound mitigating elements. The net is installed around the whole monopile in its full height. In this way, the noise can be mitigated directly at the source of the noise.

HSD systems use nets with gas filled elastic balloons and special PE-foam elements with high dissipative effects to reduce continuous and impact noise. The resonance frequency of the HSD-elements, the optimum damping rate for impact noise, the distribution and the effective frequency range can be fully controlled.
