Kagain was a dwarven merchant and fighter that lived in the town of Beregost during the mid–14 th century DR. He owned and operated a mercenary company that specialized in protecting caravans. [1] Kagain was determined to gain as much wealth as possible. This desire reached a level of obsession in his mind.

Kagain is an infamous dwarven mercenary, known as much for his sadistic cruelty and naked greed as his prodigious skill in battle. He is known by many nick names including "the Headhunter", "the Blood Dwarf" and most famously the "the Scream Hunter".

Kagain has the highest HP of any companions in game, his 20 constitution also gives him a natural regeneration (1 hp/min) which will generally allow him to regain a large amount of health when traveling between areas on the world map and whenever party rest.

2012年12月1日 · Kagain gives a quest to find Entar Silvershield's son which gives a journal entry. Upon entering the location between FAI and Beregost Kagain informs the player that he is abandoning the quest. The quest however will remain in active quests part of the journal and is not moved to "done quests" as it should as the journal is now divided.

Kagain runs a small shop just north of Feldepost's Inn. He will hire you to find a missing caravan, and if you accept, then he will go along. When asked about his past, Kagain stresses that the questioner should just mind their own business if they want to keep their teeth.
