In September 2003, up and coming New York prospect Matt Striker (aka Matt Martel) made his MLW debut, teaming with Monsta Mack and Rich Criado to take on the Samoan Island Tribe's Ekmo (later known as WWE's Umaga), Samu and Mana.

During the interview, he also stated that he wants to face 16-time World Champion John Cena at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood.Previously, WWE announced that WrestleMania coming to Hollywood in 2023.

During his career he has worked for WWE, Impact Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA World Wide, Lucha Underground and Major League Wrestling. Striker is currently working commentary for MLW Wrestling.
