2024年9月17日 · Pickering Waste Management Facility: A total of 27 Dry Storage Containers (DSC) were transferred up to the end of Q2 which totals 42 of 80 year-end transfer target, keeping the facility on track to meet this target.

new DSC Processing Building would increase processing capabilities from 50 DSCs to approximately 100 DSCs per year. OPG is requesting that the licensed area be expanded to accommodate Storage Buildings #4, #5, #6 and the new DSC Processing Building which will be within the current environmentally assessed area.
