2024年10月2日 · Shoka is a simpler, more refined version of the Rikka style. Where Rikka is grand, Shoka focuses on minimalism. Its arrangements have three main elements: Shin (heaven), Soe (man), and Hikae (earth), all meant to represent harmony between nature and humanity.

Containers for shoka and rikka should have an opening at the top that is wider than the base and the top edge should be completely even. Boat containers are used for shoka boat arrangements and can also be used in jiyuka arrangements. Baskets are suitable for traditional isshuike and nishuike shoka designs.
