Scout Troop 239 is chartered by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Our youth come from a wide variety of religious affiliations, as we operate as a community based troop. If you would like to join Boy Scout Troop 239 please attend one of our meetings.

Troop 239 was founded in 1955 and has continually provided life skills training, outdoor adventures and leadership development to Scouts in the Pleasant Hill, Martinez and Concord areas. Scouting is fun with a purpose! We have a rich history in scout skills and rank advancement with over 50 Eagle Scouts.

Boy Scout Troop 239 is an active and visible part of our community. Based in Claridge, Pennsylvania, our scouts are from and support Claridge and its surrounding communities, including Harrison City, Hempfield, Irwin, Jeannette, Manor, and Penn Township (Penn Trafford). We are proud to be chartered by the Bushy Run Lions Club.

Escape the indoors and join our organization for exciting outdoor activities. Our pack is open to K-4th graders. Our troops are open to Boys and Girls 11-17 years of age. 10 year olds can join too, if they have completed the 5th grade or have completed the Cub Scout Arrow of light Program.
