I called to inquire and they told me that it would be 90 days...I finally got my certification last week. Luckily the district hired me after I showed them that I had met the requirements, but was just waiting on FLDOE.

I'm going on the assumption and understanding that all you are needing is an update to your application and no other requirements or needed payments to them. I have had some nerve-wracking moments with certification and other paperwork needed in a short time with them.

Jun 7, 2023 · The FLDOE website says that they will accept electronic FASTER and SPEEDE transcripts, but when I go to request a SPEEDE transcript from my institution, the transcript processing service still needs an email address to send the secure transcript download link to. The FLDOE website doesn't list an email for this, at least that I can see!

Science 5-9 cert since my Bachelors is in Biology but have now decided that I just want a K-6 and no longer want to pay for the Science 5-9 certification (75 each I believe) I'm not sure how to delete the original app and start a new one.

Jul 13, 2022 · I’d go ahead and submit your application and transcripts soon-ish because it’ll take around 2-3 months just for them to evaluate your transcripts. Test scores are reported about like a day to a week or so after you take it to the FLDOE, so as long as it shows up in your file before they look at your profile, you’ll be good.

If I am ineligible, what would I need to do in order to obtain my statement of eligibility for that subject area? Should I proactively take the exam or wait until I get the response from the FLDOE?
