The Chengdu J-7 (Chinese: 歼-7; third generation export version F-7; NATO reporting name: Fishcan[1]) is a Chinese fighter aircraft. It is a license-built version of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21, and thus shares many similarities with that aircraft. [2] .

The Chengdu J-7 is a Chinese license-built version of the Russian supersonic jet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21. The aircraft was produced from 1965 to 2013 and remains in service mostly as an interceptor aircraft in various air forces, which includes the People’s Liberation Army Air Force.

2022年9月14日 · Initial production batch models were known simply as J-7 (export models were the F-7) and appeared from Shengyang in 1966 through a 12-strong commitment. These versions fielded only one 30mm NR-30 cannon and two underwing hardpoints allowed for air-to-air ordnance to be fitted as normal.

China later developed the Shenyang J-8 based both on the expertise gained by the program, and by utilizing the incomplete technical information acquired from the Soviet Ye-152 developmental jet. In May 2013, J-7 production has ceased after decades of manufacturing.

2022年12月20日 · J-7D if you want to get the F-16 MLU faster but A-5C if you're only aiming for the J-7E. Don’t buy the a-5c, spend the extra money and get the 7d. It’s future proof and you’ll be able to grind out the new gen 4 jets in the future.
