CPTA provides an expert in reimbursement who is available to answer questions and provide timely updates on reimbursement changes and trends. CPTA's print publications, website (ccapta.org) and California PT Notes keep members apprised of the latest news and information related to their profession.

CPTA membership is only $1.47 per day for a PT and $0.94 per day for a PTA (based on $540 for PT and $346 for PTA). This is a small price to pay to ensure you can continue to practice physical therapy on a daily basis.

The California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) is pleased to announce the 2025 listing of CPTA Provided Continuing Education Courses for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and PT/PTA students. Please register at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the course.

You will learn about the history of CPTA’s political endeavors and various issues that have a direct impact on your profession. You will receive expert advice on advocating from our seasoned lobbyist.

Our aim is to promote the participation of students in CPTA events and initiatives, represent the interests of students in state government affairs, and prepare members for future leadership roles in the profession.
