Xicor when he was first mentioned was conceived when a Godesses pretended to be Chichi while Goku was trainning on a planet with 1000x Earth's gravity.

Keep in mind, SSJ5 was pretty much the big thing that kept people tided over between the end of GT and Battle of Gods releasing, in spite of it being completely non-canon. SSJ5 and Xicor (both of which kinda go together) are, for better or worse, the biggest and most influential fan made creations for Dragon Ball.
