I am trying to make a .cur file so I can make a custom cursor image but I can't find a way to change to files directly or when I download them. I made a new folder for the files and I looked in there for them and found them but when I selected them nothing happened. I even put the files in the cursor images files directly.

2010年3月20日 · You could try saving them as part of a themepack, but I don't believe the themes compress and store cursors internally the way they do with wallpapers. Unfortunately the only way I know to do what you want is to export out of the registry, but that would only work if the new computer had the cursor files stored in the exact same path.

2021年8月7日 · I went to the C:/Windows/Cursor folder, and accidentally used the Paint app as default file to open cursor. This unfortunately made the original icon image of each cursor disappeared from view, as below.
