2005年10月29日 · I actually took a 3 month course in college too (required by the ed. dept. but sent off to Zaner-Bloser). My kids, who are in 2nd grade, do a handwriting page every day. Monday-Thursday are half sheets, and Friday is a full sheet (which also is a great direction sheet). I use the Evan-Moor's Daily Handwriting Practice:Traditional Manuscript book.

2010年4月23日 · In the morning, I've had them write a brief journal entry on general topics. The purpose is to have them practice free-write and also practice their handwriting. I would walk around, and provide feedback on their handwriting. This is still a process, but definitely continue doing what you're doing. Consistency will help improve their handwriting.

We use the Zaner-Bloser publisher edition and this teaches the proper loops, curves, etc. There are a few categories I use as suggested by the book: size, shape, smoothness, slant, and spacing.

2006年11月6日 · I need a little advice on what to do about handwriting. I am a former K teacher now teaching 1st grade. Obviously I have some of my K kids from last year. I made sure to hit handwriting hard in K because a lot is expected of them at the beginning of 1st (the 1st grade teachers asked us to work harder on it). I wanted them to be successful.
