Tobin Bell (born Joseph Henry Tobin Jr.; August 7, 1942) is an American actor. He has appeared in a number of television shows and films but is most recognized for his role as John Kramer / Jigsaw in the Saw franchise .

He is perhaps best known for his role as the iconic "Jigsaw" in the Saw film series...for which he received MTV Award nominations in 2007 & 2009. He's a graduate of Boston University and has a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Montclair State University.

John Kramer (also known as "The Jigsaw Killer" or simply "Jigsaw") is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of the Saw franchise. Jigsaw, an engineer made his debut in the first film of the series, Saw, and appears in all subsequent installments, with the exception of Spiral, in which he is only mentioned and featured in photographs.
