1994年6月1日 · Surface stoichiometry was tested by XPS-microscopy. The spatially resolved observation of line intensities as well as line shifts revealed an effective metallization and oxidation of the surface. Using atomic force microscopy we found evidence for a 3-dimensional island-like formation of Ca aggregates with a size up to 12 μm diameter.

2011年2月10日 · The initial stages of MBE growth of PbSe on CaF 2 /Si(111) were studied by in situ XPS. The surface reaction between CaF 2 and elemental Se is also studied as a comparison. Ca 2p, F 1s, Pb 4f and Se 3d peaks all shift to lower binding energies (1.2 - 1.6 eV) with increasing PbSe coverage.

2011年7月20日 · In this work the surface composition of graphite anodes after electrolysis in molten NaF–AlF 3 –CaF 2 is investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for evidence of fluorination. Fluorocarbon is identified on an electropolished region of an anode surface resulting from anode effect.
