The MP5 (German: Maschinenpistole 5) is a family of primarily 9mm submachine guns, designed and produced by the German small arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) of Oberndorf am Neckar. Developed in the 1960s, there are over 100 variants of the MP5, [1] including some semi-automatic versions.

The Heckler & Koch MP5 MLI (Mid Life Improvement) is an upgraded version of MP5 revealed in late 2013. It is fitted with a tri-rail foregrip, a quick-release-optic mount, an MP5F stock standard, and now comes in the new RAL8000 (Yellow-Brown) color scheme.
