1/2" Beam Clamp with Lock Nut - Electro-Galvanized joins the channel to the beam by clamping down on the flanges with the lock nut. Electro-Galvanized Steel should be used in interior applications where conditions are dry, and humidity is low.

Beam clamps suspend threaded rod from a metal beam, steel girder, or strut channel. The rod can then connect to conduit or a pipe hanger to support conduit runs. Beam clamps mount onto the edge of a horizontal surface and clamp down firmly with a set screw.

Service: Designed to attach hanger rod to the top flange of a beam or bar joist where flange thickness does not exceed 5/8 of an inch. Approvals: U.L. - U.L.C. listed 3/8 and 1/2 (1/2 for 4” IPS max). FM approved for 3/8 only.
