2018年10月1日 · Under my current network setup, I am unable to access my modem setup pages. My Default Gateway is 10.0.0.1, which is the IP address of my Orbi. If I attempt to access the last known modem IP address of 192.168.1.1, I get a time out (Firefox) or a page not found (Edge). So, the modem is in transparent bridge mode, and the Orbi is in Router mode.

May I ask for what reason you are trying to access the admin page for the gateway? All settings should be available via the Xfinity app directly or the Xfinity website to manage the device.

2020年1月30日 · Hello, I cant seem to find my login on the "10.0.0.1" admin tool page. I have factory reset the router, making sure the LEDs turned off and tried the default "admin" for username and "password" password, but it didn't seem to work. I repeated this a couple more times but still, no luck. If anyone could help me that would be fantastic!

2019年9月17日 · Reason that the Orbi is getting a 10.0.0.1 address is that the default IP address of 192.168.1.1 that Orbi normally uses is in conflict with one of the modems. Thus the Orbi changes to something that doesn't conflict with that IP address.

2021年7月6日 · To reset the 10.0.0.1 password you will need to do a full reset on your modem. You will need to have something like a pen or paper clip to stick in the small reset hole on the back of the modem. You will want to hold the button for about 30 seconds to do the full reset.

When I first got it I could log into 10.0.0.1 and experiment with Wi-Fi settings such as channel but now all Wi-Fi settings are grayed out.This includes the following menu pages: Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi > Edit 2.4 GHz; Gateway > Connection > Wi-Fi > Edit 5 GHz

2021年2月19日 · I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 10 to replace my Windows 8 PC. I can access all my web sites and the new PC. However, the XFINITY router cannot be accessed through the 10.0.0.1 IP address using the same 10.0.0.1 address with the same login ID and password that has always worked.

2024年1月21日 · By default, the new router wants to use 192.168.1.1 as its local IP address. (192.168.0.1 is the address that many modem/routers go for.) If it finds another router it will go for something else, 10.0.0.1 is a regular fallback. So, yes, it is normal behaviour, but it is a bad idea. You can end up with network issues.

2023年7月18日 · How do you reset the password for the admin profile for 10.0.0.1? I did the 30 second hold reset button and the two minute hole reset button but all it did was reset my Wi-Fi name and password.
