2005年7月16日 · CRT sets usually display 480p and 1080i natively - as the line scan rates are almost identical (and thus the tubes can easily accommodate both without having to have a wide range of line scan rates) The vertical field/frame refresh rates are the same for all standards.

Samsung WS32Z409TQX HD Ready CRT with HDMI - AVForums
2006年4月11日 · If we assume we're talking about a UK TV, then it might be capable of displaying 576p at 50Hz or 1080i at 50Hz, but not 720p at 50Hz. 576p at 50Hz means 28,800 lines per second. 1080i at 50Hz means 27,000 lines per second, so it's actually slightly easier in some ways. 720p would require 36,000 lines per second. 1080p would be 54,000 lines per ...

1080i on a CRT - AVForums
2003年11月14日 · 1080i has the same apparent resolution as 720P (i.e. about 2/3rds the total lines) As mentioned before a 1080P (for Progressive) signal draws the full frame of image in a single pass. 1080i (for interlace) draws the image in two separate passes of 540 lines and takes, usually, twice the time to do it.
CRT TV for Xbox 360 - 760p - AVForums
2006年3月13日 · The new samsung probably won't do true 720p though. It will most likely scale it to 1080i as it is cheaper to do this than create a true multi-sync tube which does 480p, 720p and 1080i natively. The US version of this set, like with all consumer CRT HD's simply displays 480p and 1080i natively.
CRT with Component, asking too much? - AVForums
2006年11月27日 · The TV manual states that the component connections support 480p/576p/1080i (actually 525p/625p/1125i). No mention of 480i or 576i so is the TV upscaling or what? I believe the answer to ns1col's question above is yes. The PS3 is able to do 1080i over component (or HDMI) if the games specifically supported it.
