The Army is expanding their SHORAD capabilities a lot over the next few years, so there’s going to be a lot of opportunities for advancement as the Army stands up new units. There’s going to be a wide variety of duty stations with divisional units and the Multi Domain Task Forces. You’ll definitely do what you sign up for as a 14P too.

2022年4月21日 · Bragg, Campbell, Germany, Korea, and I believe Japan. 14P is SHORAD, and SHORAD is a very small community in ADA still, but probably will grow in the future. If your airborne, welcome to E 3/4 ADA at Bragg unless you can go somewhere else.

2023年9月24日 · Not a 14P, but you’ve got Sill, Liberty, Campbell, korea and Ansbach Germany as your duty station options. Be aware, you will likely never fire a non training stinger missile (because that shits expensive) and will either be on an avenger team or in a CRAM unit. SHORAD is kind of poopy.

2023年8月18日 · I leave next week for Ft Sill to reclass from 31B to 14P. I’ve been in the National Guard for 6 years and finally switching over to Active Duty Army as an E4. From what I’m seeing, it looks to be an expedited course of 7 weeks training instead of 10.
